Ghostwriter of “Titles”

In the late 60’s Nawabbarians waited for the most coveted mail. On every 1st of April this anxious wait was for the mail with “Titles”. After a lull decade, they again popped up in the 80’s for a year or two.

This Ghostwiter/s (?) was/were not only well informed but also tight lipped. Though the letters triggered both fun and furiosity throughout kothi; the anger and frustration calmed down in couple of days.

But Ghostwriter’s given titles have won over time like the old Hindi songs (i.e Saiya Dilme Ana Re). These titles were effective enough to burry many real names.

There were many finger pointing and mud-slinging.
However none could bring compelling forensic evidence to implicate any individual.
Who were these Ghostwriter of “Titles”?

Calling another human being or any human being with derogetory names while hiding and than adding insult to injury by calling this as "title" does not reflect good taste or manner.

One of the greatest asset of most members of the Dhaka Nawab Bari is "Manner or good taste". I do not think this is a topic that represent "good taste" at all and should not be discuss at this family forum.

A person or persons who hide and ambush with slur represent nothing but lowest form of human behavior.

Let us not pass such "low culture points" to our children and theirs,

Respectfully,

Dear anonymous

You're absolutely right. I also suggest to keep these kind of discussion out of the family forum. Which brings the value of our family down.

FYI
I truely understand that this is not a good topic of discussion and should not be passed on to future generations. But we cannot suppress every negative aspect of our family. They have the right to know both good and bad sides.

First of all we do not know for sure that the person(s) started this so-called title giving business was indeed a member of DNF.

Instead of discussing the topic of so-called title, we should discuss how an education foundation by the members of DNF can be formed to award yearly scholarship to brilliant students of the family toward higher education (i.e. Phd) etc. If you want to keep the family name remember until eternity than "create good minds within the family".

Sounds good?

Lets work on it.

I must say that is an astounding idea... as a matter of you should have posted an original Blog for this discussion and see what other family members have to say about this.
