just a thought.is it possible to stage a TYPICAL Nawab Bari wedding with all the "rasams" of "haldi" and "mehendi"?We could make a short documentry on the the traditional Nawab Family wedding;not to forget the "baithak"ofcourse!!In this way we can keep the tradition running from generation to generation.I'm ready to contribute to any effort required.

Non Resident Nawabbarians (NRN): vote
More members of the Nawab family are living abroad now than anytime in the recent memory.
These non resident Nawab Barians (NRN) still feel strongly about their roots,
have interst in hometown, and want to participate in the family affair.
Should they be allowed to vote by mail/email in the electoral process of "B: Association or of Moulvi Abdullah welfare trust?

"BHOG" unresolved mystery of Talab
Many people died in the Gol Talab. These deaths could be explained in the following two ways:
Scientific: An unskilled swimmer may go in deep water and drown. Or a good swimmer could drown due to muscle cramp while swimming.
Mythological: It is belief of many that the completion of any big construction (e.g. bridge, power dam) requires sacrificial blood of an animal. This blood pleases "Devi" and gets her blessing.
While ignoring this sacrificial ritual brings her wrath. Then she starts taking life every year.
May be, when this Talab was dug first time, everyone forgot the sacrificial part. Now this Devi’s/goddess wrath comes in the form of BHOG. Eyewitness say that they have seen floating hair. However when the water of the goal Talab was pumped out during the late 70's, people awaited for surprise. Dashing the hope of many nothing was found.
Conclusion:
While swimming in the middle of the Talab, weeds kiss your feet and the water temperature changes. Have you ever felt chills run down your spine?
Do you believe in BHOG?

Are we inspiring our young ones?
There is a famous saying in Farsi, "Pidram Sultan Bood", which means when a person was asked what he did for a living he replied, "Well my father was Sultan Bood".
Are we inspiring our young ones to outshine our ancestors or our very simply relishing the past ?
Why isn't there a single diplomat or a politician from the family today?

An Honorary seat in the Parliament
Given the Dhaka Nawab Family's contribution, do you think that
a member of the family should be given a Honorary seat in the parliament
as an observer.
What are your views ?

Ghostwriter of “Titles”
In the late 60’s Nawabbarians waited for the most coveted mail. On every 1st of April this anxious wait was for the mail with “Titles”. After a lull decade, they again popped up in the 80’s for a year or two.
This Ghostwiter/s (?) was/were not only well informed but also tight lipped. Though the letters triggered both fun and furiosity throughout kothi; the anger and frustration calmed down in couple of days.
But Ghostwriter’s given titles have won over time like the old Hindi songs (i.e Saiya Dilme Ana Re). These titles were effective enough to burry many real names.
There were many finger pointing and mud-slinging.
However none could bring compelling forensic evidence to implicate any individual.
Who were these Ghostwriter of “Titles”?

Pink Ahsan Manzil
I grew up watching Ahsan Manzil faded brown.
After the reconstruction it was painted pink.
What was the original exterior color of Ahsan Manzil?

Selling Talab?
There is a rumor that a group of people are very active looking for a suitable buyer of talab.
Do you support the idea of selling the Talab in Nawababri?
The nawabbarian's living outside Nawababri or living abroad probably might not care.
Some are just interested on netting cash.
Does anyone care about ecological consequence?
Isn't B association and MAW trust has to agree on this first?
