Do you dream of having all the family members in USA at the same place? How about a goal talab in the middle of our adobe homes? Any suggestion? Like cheaper place to buy huge land and develop accordingly?
Imagine people gathering for the baithak! or singing "mehendi mere lala range ...." around the talab?
How about the retired people sitting in the porch and enjoying their grandsons and duagthers growing up?
Can we change this dream into reality???
Its a great Idea. However it requires a lot of unity and money and we heavily lack on both. Again it will be nice if we have something like this. It is hard but possible.
ReplyDeleteIt will be so assome
ReplyDeleteThat is an amazing idea. Can we make it happen tough? Whatwould be an idal location?
ReplyDeleteanything's possible...where there is a will there is a way..but it may not be possible for a lot of reasons,eg. our jobs, schools,
ReplyDeletepublic transit(lot of us don't drive),and also i would somewhat
agree with the first writer about having unity and money, which is
very important..good idea though..
we should give it a try...
all the best...
Please dont forget to add a "Tom".
ReplyDeleteI will sell all my belonging to buy a piece of land near that imaginary Talab Kenar.

ReplyDeleteI'll buy the mansookaser corner.
ReplyDeleteOh I cant really afford to buy any such corners but will definitely try to hire the 'pohchka wala' vendor full time..and buy the modi dukan!Umm, how many of you remember the "pohchka wala" around the talab kenar and his unique style of swiping the " chatpati" platter with his (not-so-sterile!!)thumb.Believe it or not, without that 180 degree swipe chatpati mein maza nahi aata tha.. Hahahaha...good ole days!
